The Heartland Chapel and Event Center is located in New Salem, Ohio, just 45 minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio, and within minutes of Buckeye Lake. It is a full-service event facility available to host a wide variety of events, including weddings, receptions, banquets, reunions, graduations, business meetings, and worship services, just to name a few.
The facility has a rural setting on over 1 acre of land and consists of a non-denominational church of approximately 3,600 square feet, capable of seating approximately 200 people. The church was built in 1902 and features beautiful hand-crafted stained-glass windows in its sanctuary and a bell, located in the steeple, that still works. In 1983, an annex of approximately 3,400 square feet was constructed and adjoined to the church. The annex has been fully modernized and can seat approximately 200 people. A separate area within the lower level of the annex is available for children’s activities.
"we were amazed at how the renovations to the Heartland Chapel preserved its heritage and maintained its rustic character. Needless to say, we are so happy we were able to renew our vows for our 50th wedding anniversary. We were married here 50 years ago!
